Pickup trucks represent Detroit engineering unlike any other kind of vehicle. For anyone who needs to get work done or have some fun off-roading, pickup trucks are the way to go. But plenty of city dwellers have turned increasingly towards pickups, as well, to haul the family around and make grocery runs.
The Fast Lane Truck reports that between Ford, Chevy, GMC, and Ram, Detroit automakers sold nearly two million pickup trucks in 2018. That’s a lot of trucks!
